David's Story
David Kelleher, President of David Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram moved to the Philadelphia area in 1986 to attend the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating he decided to take a year off before entering law school. Little did he know that year off would turn into a new career path.

After seven years and two previous vehicles leased through this dealership, my wife and I expected at the very least a baseline of professional courtesy. Instead, our most recent experience with David Dodge and salesman Mike McVeigh was a complete disaster, defined by incompetence, a total lack of transparency, and the classic sleazy salesman tactics that give the industry a bad name. My wife, Ashley, reached out to Mike a month before her lease was up on her 2023 Grand Cherokee. Having worked in car sales myself, I have never seen a situation where the customer has to do all the heavy lifting to move a deal forward. My brother in law is also in the business as a car salesman, so between the two of us, we know exactly how the game works and how a professional floor should be run. Mike’s communication was virtually nonexistent, and when he did respond, it was with half baked attempts to push 2025 inventory that we explicitly stated we did not want. We were interested in the 2026 Limited Reserve; Mike ignored the request, sent us a generic link to the website that showed no matching inventory, and still tried to bait us into an appointment under false pretenses. The lack of transparency reached a breaking point when Mike finally provided numbers on a 2026 model. Despite the MSRP being $3,000 less than her current vehicle, the lease payment quote was nearly $200 higher. No explanation was offered for this discrepancy. It was a transparent attempt to price us out of the vehicle we wanted to force a sale on older stock, likely for a better commission or spiff. To be clear, the money was not the issue. We have the means to afford the vehicle; the issue was being treated like we were too unintelligent to notice the predatory math. Furthermore, if you are expecting to get a lease through a reputable bank backed by Jeep like Stellantis, good luck. They will farm your lease out to another bank that will incur fees you might not be aware of. You will likely end up with Sun East or some other local FCU or bank instead of the brand Jeep recommends. To top it off, trying to turn in the lease was an exercise in futility. Multiple calls went to voicemail with zero callbacks. When I called personally, my information was immediately harvested by their BDC and farmed out to another salesman. This was particularly offensive because the individual they sent my info to is someone I have no interest in working with and absolutely do not want to be associated with due to our past history outside of this dealership. It was a gross invasion of privacy and a lack of due diligence. It eventually took an email to the Operations, Sales, and F&I managers just to get someone to acknowledge the lease termination. We ended up going down the street and purchasing a luxury vehicle that cost significantly more, simply because that dealership actually appreciated our business. If you value your time and expect a shred of professional integrity, skip David Dodge. If you must go there, avoid Mike McVeigh like the plague. They don't want to help you; they want to move what’s easy for them, even if it means losing a loyal, decade long customer. Take your business elsewhere.
I highly recommend David’s and Walter if you’re buying a jeep! I found a beautiful jeep on their website, filled out the application from home, and was connected to Walter. I came in on a Saturday morning and even though he was busy, Walter was able to assist me with test driving the vehicle and closing the deal. It was amazing customer service and when I wasn’t happy with the detailing he got me back in the next week for another one. I also had to come back in to get work done to two of my shocks and Walter made sure to set it up for me and that it was covered under warranty. When I dropped my jeep off to get the work done they provided me with a beautiful rental that made me love the Grand Cherokee as much as the Wranglers. I highly recommend this dealership.

I love the commercials but it was actually Aubrey in online services that I initially connected with who was kind extremely polite and sent me immediate images of what I was looking for. The experience was very good overall and Kenny my dealer was funny despite experiencing a very recent loss in his family. Overall their prices are the best around and I am glad a friend recommended them to me!
I had a great experience at David Dodge in Glen Mills. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. If you go there ask for Walt Cook to be your salesman. He went above and beyond for me. He was honest, respectful, and very professional and extremely helpful. He was able to answer every question I asked him and knowledgeable about every vehicle we looked at. I will definitely be recommending this dealership to everyone and anyone who ask.

I must admit , they truly made us feel great about buying a vehicle from them. From the start, Joe on the internet sales was so polite. He texted me info, photos and carfax. I was close by and said, I'll just stop by and take a look at the vehicle he mentioned. When I got there, it was right out front. Joe introduced himself, and said he would hand me over to Kyle Baker in floor sales to show me the vehicle. Kyle is very responsive, told me so much about it, got a price with trade in, negotiated in fairness and made deciding to purchase there easy! Bob, another salesman who sat nearby spoke to me about the vehicle as well. He's a very enthusiastic person, he was so excited to be working for David Dodge that he even had David himself come greet me. In a world of fast paced, unpersonable interactions, David Dodge and his crew went above and beyond!. He was my dealer, I just didn't know it! I just bought a used car from here and I can honestly say it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Steve Ellis was absolutely amazing making this experience as easy and as smooth as buying a car can be. Jan with the finance department was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made the process as easy as can be. I couldn't be happier with how this whole process went down. Will be back in the future whenever my family needs a new car
